I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz,
or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off.
I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,
in secret, between the shadow and the soul.

I love you as the plant that never blooms
but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers;
thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance,
risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body.

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride;
so I love you because I know no other way

than this: where I does not exist, nor you,
so close that your hand on my chest is my hand,
so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.

I have yet to hear
The echo of your voice....
I could sense a lilt in your laughter....
Or maybe in how you  clear your throat...
It won't matter to me
If you sing off-key...
I just want to hear your voice.

I have yet to see
The radiance of your smile,
Your face, your eyes....
Maybe your whole being ...
Could fill up
This emptiness within me.

I have yet to feel
Your presence, your strength...
Your warmth, your true feelings for me.
Would you cry with me when I'm sad?
Hold me when I need to be held?
Would you give me space
When I need to be alone?

And yet,
I feel I know you so well...
Well enough that my worries
Are crushed by my good vibes about you
Maybe...
the secret lies not in you,
But in my mind-----
In my dreams, I see
What my mind tells me....
My inner self confirms it....
In every part of you, I see
..............MAGIC.............
And why is it that I feel...
How is it that I know.......
That for always....
I shall be under your spell.....

Sally

That's a poem, right?

I cried a tear
I cried a tear, just for you
I cried and no one answered
but in my tears, the answer was true
this tear that I cried
was loved and full of you
it is no longer mine
but it was a tear of truth

Plethoratic memoria--
Este esta mi visión,
Becoming pictures and scenes in my mind,
As though from museums and movies.

Intimacies abound within thought processes
Incarcerated behind the bars of the prison cells
Playing public transportation between the synapses.

So many more words than are needed.
Not enough words in the world.
Words inspiring words inspiring
The colors, the visions, vitality--swirl.

Out and about
Amidst the hustle and bustle
Of ultra-modern cities
Is a phenomenon that escapes my mind’s grasp
Penniless famished hoi polloi huddled together almost in unison
Arms outstretched eking out a living from begging
Pitiful downcast eyes that tell stories untold
A sad sight to behold
Begging the question
Haven’t humankind a shred of tenderness?
The beggars of the 21st century live and dwell in wall-less edifices(the streets)....
