Byron did blush at the faceless one's amour
Strange feeling he'd never experienced before
On the cloud blackened night by the shore

A story as old as thyme
A Kid signing language to his mother's despair
the way moonlight frittered throughout the air
A lost cat prowling to and fro by the gas lamp

With tender eyes
You tenderize me,
meat hooks sinking in
with the looks
that guide the
knife that slices
with each touch of skin
the cold metallic table,
unable yet manic
falling apart,
panic attacking
with each touch of the blade,
the butchers art,
taken from a stable,
for the sake of forsaken fables
feeble chunks,
fragments made into saleable pieces
the heart aside a different species
in a bucket,
It'll make great sausages.
I ink blood to write poetry
Deep within the layers of my skin

A felt of freedom in discreetly
No words I could start nor begin

Every dip to this poet so deep
Submerging lines of such flighty pills

Every words that I ought to speak
I shall wrote it down with my
Feather Quill

©2014 Maman Screams
I just had a feather quill ink on me last night.
This shall be a poem to my new beautiful ink.
Inhale, feel, lets the flavors collide.
**** it down if you can
Every taste from your poisonous gauntlet
Reminds me of me your kiss.

Passionate, I keep sipping.
I love you more than I love myself.
You have become the reason I breathe,
And you will prove to be the reason I die.

My skin under my eyes loses color.
It is tired from the things you have thrown at it.
Trying to combat you is a lost cause.

In those moments,
I look into your brown eyes
And try to find something weak
Something human.
Your blank stare frightens me
As it is comparable to a demon, the devil
Devoid of remorse, or guilt, or sorrow.

Your words cut deeper.
They are the IV in my veins
They penetrate my skin
And invade my bloodstream
Yet, I continue to hook their machines
Up to my comatose body.

I have gone from having a bright smile
To wearing a perpetual look of anguish.
You have aged me ten years.

I stare down at my hands as they tremble.
My eyeballs have sunken into my head
I am a ruin of anything lifelike.

It is a defective disposition
But can it be cured?
An addiction is a pleasure is a curse
That grows as you feed it.

I must cut myself off from you, my lifeline,
Completely.

Gracious angel, held just past my reach
I remember running wild with you, at the beach.
Extravagant white dress, manicured tresses,
That you let the water touch.

Fallen angel, at my feet,
I remember you begging to finish me.
Enough black lace, curls around your face,
That you let defamed hands touch.

Weeping angel, at the stairs,
I remember you saying you never cared.
Simple jeans, hair lost in the breeze,
Which the waves of my love couldn't touch.

Peach
Would you
Allow me
To sip
From your succulent lips
As night
Seductively slides
Against a crimson stained sky?

Would you
Allow me
To trace
The contours of your aching body
As moonlight
Tempting highlights
Your passion filled form?

Would you
Allow me
To teasingly
******
You
Until...
We're both exhausted?

It hurts knowing that I've never heard you say you loved me.
That you never were proud of me for anything I tried to do for you.
I was the one who always tried and give you credit when you would scream and yell for nothing
Making mom cry and hide.
You never taught us anything like a father should.
All I got out of you was knowing you hated your life and everything in it.
I never leave my room when your home cause all I get is yelled at
Consent name calling
You mumbling terrible words that you knew I could hear
I wish I had a father
Cause I don't know who you are
A man who live in my house that has no name.
I've given up on trying with you
Walking pass you at home and having no connection hurts
Cause I always wanted a dad I could talk to and laugh with
Call daddy
Feel like if I got hurt he would come to the rescue
and save the day
Guess I'll never know what it's like to have that
Cause after all you never put any affort into being a father to any of your children
Or a good husband
I think moms the only reason I stay
She more brave then anyone I know
I guess I win in having such a wonderful person to keep me going when it gets hard.
When you would yell and scream at me
She would try and make you turn to her so I wouldn't have to take it.
I guess that's why I took to the neighbors dad.
He was always the dad I never had.
Funny.
Good to talk to.
Happy, loved his kids.
I'm sorry that I wasn't a perfect child
I've made mistakes
But I've never told you that I've hated you
I've never said anything disrespectful to you like you have a thousand times to me
I don't think I ever will
Cause I guess I'm not like you
I don't put people down to feel good about myself
I won't never stand in my child's face and yell hurtful words until they couldnt see cause the tears would block out everything.
And I thank god I didn't turn into you
Thank god none of us did.
This was a hard one to write with out crying that's why it's so terrible. Eh.

Old rototiller in the leaky shed
a working tool for the old homestead
mismatch parts of blue and red
it ain't pretty, but it keeps me fed

cutting up wood before the winter storm
preparations before snow clouds form
it might not seem like "the norm"
it ain't pretty, but it keeps me warm

rusty double barrel on the rack
a whole lot of ammo in a stack
to defend in case of attack
it ain't pretty, but it's got my back
