I've been through hell and back. I've been abused, misused, neglected, rejected, torn,and served by those who said, that they loved me.... and had my back. I've been talked about, put down and kicked out, dehumanized, and despised by those I loved the most. I've been lied on and lied to, I've been hurt so bad--- I didn't know what to do; but through it all I survived. I forgave all those who hurt me...not because they deserved it but because, I needed to be free; and forgiving them saved and freed me. I survived..... through it all.... Still I Rise.

I open my wings to you....don't leave me out in the cold... Love-Me... Body-and-Soul...For, To you-- I give my all over-and-over....and over-again.... Body-and-Soul.

I heard the storm.... Funny I felt the rain, thought I was going insane.... because my tears was the rain pushing back what was my pain. I held your heart in my hands but the question that, made me to weak to stand.... was does it beat for me? The rain covers my soul... I realize that, the beat of your heart makes me whole. I know, I've done you wrong... broke you in pieces, but you're my everything.... please stay--- we have something worth keeping.....when it's good there's no release. You're my rest..... I know, I'm your peace. I hold your heart in my hands but, the question that, stands and makes me too weak to ask is...... does it still beat for me?

I'm  dying....it's been like this for awhile now...I've grown,  good at hiding my pain behind my smile. I cry tears that no-one can see, I scream out in anguish--- wow-it's me....so tired of being strong, just wanna be free-- just wanna be allowed to be me. I'm dying.... bleeding on the inside... wanting to cry out... but can't abandon my pride; I'm a lion not a lamb;  gotta be strong... no-matter what... Oh-****! I never saw it coming, had no-time to prepare, mother-sister...why did you leave me there? Abandon, Eventhough you sent me back home.... I felt rejected and all alome. Mother-Sister, Why! Did you bring me home.... you never loved me the way you loved the other's.... I felt like a slave put aslide and left alone. Yea! You said that, You loved me but I couldn't tell.... it's okay --- I'm doing well. I've survived the abuse, the misuse, and the rest I want tell.... I love you mother-mother and I wish you well. I forgave you a long time ago.... that's why I can be here,  for you whatever-comes-or-go.Sister-Mother, I forgive you too, it's been hard but I have truely forgiven you. I'm dying, but now I'm dying to live, dying to love, and dying to forgive. Yea! I'm dying to live.

I want more than just your body.... I want to make love to your intellect--go- down on your intelligence..... be aroused by the essence of you, find myself in the realness of you..... loose all of me-- in the whole of you. Today., I realized something about myself, it seems that-- I am always giving into the life's of the people around me. I go out of my way to help others and to truly be there for friends and family.I seem to always be pouring into someone  else..... emotionally, financially, spiritually, physically, mentally, it's like I'm a natural care-giver and I love it.... that's kinda who I am but today it hit me. The one person that, I never seem to go out of my way for or pour into--- is the only person who has really been there for me... no matter-what without judgment, wholeheartedly, through all of my madness, good as well bad times; through the joys and every pain.... has been and is myself.I somehow forgot to take care of me---I guess that, I've gotten so use to putting others before myself, helping  others get to their place of healing.... that I didn't think about myself and my needing to be healed. I've poured out so much ...now I feel as though my storage is empty; and now in what seems to be my dawn.... I will learn to pour into me---for once I will put me first.... for once I will be down -- with me, for-better-or-for-worse.... I will put me first..... Starting Today.

Looking in the mirror.... it's getting clearer to see--- I can make-it.... without we! Looking in the mirror....It's all clearer---I'm, Ready to be free... I' m-Ready, to be free! Looking In The Mirror!

Tell-Me, If, the abyss is any deeper than this?I've searched through my vision and I thought my vision, was a view but I've come to realize that, my vision was not in view..... Icicle palaces---- hate- be you! Rain and then there's sun.... I've born my soul... Your flesh has won. You drink me like water-- My tears are dew.... but I'm so tired of yielding to you. Tell-Me, If-- Anything about us was true! Antarctic shoulders that you gave... put me in this despair---I now call me grave. You chew me and spit me out... bits-and-pieces of my heart ---on the floor. Glaciers become my feet...... in this terrible white heat.

Take the risk and discover or rediscover who you really are.... Never be afraid of being you.
