I love him
I tell myself
I know that
We will be together forever
I don’t believe that
We could be separated
My thoughts tell me that
He’s the love of my life
Sometimes my heart lies and says
I could live an eternity
Without him
Like my friends say
“We’re perfect for each other”
And you can’t tell me
He’s not the one.

Now read from bottom to top.

Ringing ears
Drop dead silence
Revealing fears
Under the influence

Tired flesh
Mind awakened
Spirit shakened
Day is night
Night is day

Monologue conversations
In an overflowing mind
Personal revelations
Are harder to find

Verbal diarrhoea
Fitting nothing in criteria
Spreading like bacteria
Repressing hysteria
I will stand in petals
torn from blooms
and hope with all I've got
that someday soon
my heart will heal
and I will love you not.
Why Poetry?
Is a question many ask
Poetry is my Entry
To a vibrant world I can bask

Why Poetry?
I can release my emotion
I am able to grow an everblooming tree
Without all others commotion

Why Poetry?
Poetry is where my heart
And soul are set free
An incandescent art

Poetry is a place for release
Poetry is a place for love
Poetry is a place for soul
Poetry is a place for emotion

Sometimes he let his eyes rest on hers, it needn't have been painful,
but it strangely was.
He broke a lifetime of avoiding eye contact to show her.
She was worth overcoming obstacles for.

She was pretty.
Scratch that.
She was beautiful.
Scratch that too.

She was more beautiful,
Than a sunrise on a winter morning.
Or a rainfall on an autumn day
Where the leaves dance in the wind
And fill the sky with life.
More beautiful than a flower
That breaks through the cracks
Of a concrete garden
And brings color to the air.
She was more beautiful,
Than any poem that's ever been written.

She was beautiful.
Scratch that.
She still is.

The Wall

The walls of your soul that you
  Toil away building;
The windows are dark and the
  Bricks are unyielding...

( Hate, with a hammer, cracks the wall;
But Love, with a whisper, makes it fall. )

How many times have I told you, Believe?
And then will you learn how to truly Receive.
  For giving is getting -- these two are the same;
And living is learning to dance in the rain.
