Blue
a soothing hue
with varying complexions
like that of each open sky
bountiful clouds
an energetic sun
and
magnificent rainbows
complimenting it

Blue
a soothing hue
cascading its spectrum
of light
and coolness
onto the earth
drawing many
to its canopy

Blue
a soothing hue
like that of the Nile
serene sounds of historic waters
flowing a great distance
confirming its majesty
and embracing sanctuary

If the color blue is so
why are so many in Sudan blue
why are so many in Sudan dying
why are so many in Sudan *****
why are so many in Sudan weeping

If the color blue is so
why is Sudan blue
why is Sudan worried
why is Sudan being terrorized
why is Sudan fighting back

If the color blue is so
why is Sudan's peaceful protesters being attacked
why are courageous women speaking out

If the color blue is so
why are tears falling from
natives' eyes
filling up an iconic river
as they mourn the ******
of their mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters
remembering good times
dear ones' smiles, hearts, kisses,
words,
their love and mercy expressed

Blue
a soothing hue
yet we need know why
yet we're obligated to think why
yet we must talk why
Sudan is blue

My beautiful Sudan
A proud Sudanese man and Sudan
Is truly beautiful and courageous
And strong feel the happiness
And love in Sudan all day long but sadly
The world has changed and so has our Beautiful Sudan and I'll watch you from far Away and I'm so scared for you all and I'll
Stop will pray for those who are suffering today
That this painful war will end tonight and I'm Sending love to everyone who's
Hurt and has passed away
In Sudan so try to keep safe and warm and Guide yourself through this horrible storm,

And when I think of
Sudan I'm filled with pride
And the love deep inside my
Heart and I shed a tear
For our brothers and sisters who've died and
The wind is blowing like a hurricane into the Frightening sights of war
And we all miss our home
Land and wish and pray you wouldn't fight Anymore so please think of me and
I'll be your light and I'll pray for everyone who's
Suffering in Sudan every day,

And so try and be strong I'm here for you all Day long and trust in yourself you'll know what To do I've seen bullets flying in Khartoum and
Our children are dying brave mother's crying And our men lay dead in streets and Sudan is Weeping spilling our children's blood
And I hope I'll see you all soon and we can be Free and be happy Sudanese people you and Me and when this ****** war is truly over and We all come home and we'll live forever in perfect harmony.

the last male northern white rhino dies.
his tusk and skin, for the first and only time,
out of danger to be stolen in that unfair and clandestine way.
his DNA now in a vile.
he could no longer mount,
and she, though still spring in glory,
could no longer support the moment
his majesty was not able to perform.
a gentle giant is his legacy.
extinction his last and dying breath.

how could we harm such peaceful a creature?
the might of man has torn
yet another
piece of god's only will
from this earth.
will you tonight
dream of the creature?
who among us will know his name tomorrow?
Sudan, the great and gentle.
Sudan, the only northern white male rhino.
SU-DAN, who only in death
is free of man the beast.
still feels like it needs work
