staying still too long
you become fair game to a fly
their constant testing to see if you are dead yet
- a comfy nest for their maggots.

I am far from Shakespeare's " Maddening crowd "
occupying a space large enough to function at my own speed.
Yet still I am tormented by others perception,
their ideas of how one should live,
and being male I can still hear my mother,
berating me for the untidy, piled up dishes and clothing
the lack of any weekly rota for cleaning
and my mother lives two ferry journeys and six hundred and fifty road miles away, her criticism always took centre stage.

You reach through on so many levels
and reach out from the centre

Two pronged love meeting
in the middle

A gentle touch of Sunlight
the warmth of a heart beat.

When you reach the land of "no fear"
and "being afraid" is an alien concept
The way now is all light
and you are light on the way.

You can rush through all the confusion
and say the one word
-the contemplation of an eternity
in a place called love.
Confusion
Oh, for the love of the younger me
Torn between feelings for my teenager lovers
Protecting my heart from the lying *******
I ran from their clutches and I spread my wings

Somehow, one of them gets to follow me
On the devil playground call modern directory
Gazing into my life day after, day after day
making it seem like getting older make us restless and hopeless. .

Oh, for the love of the younger me
Torn between my feelings for my teenager lovers
Still running and protecting my heart from their lies
Those lying ******* from my youth

Meow power does exist.
Mud on her cheek
she catches crab
by the narrow creek

her frame is sleek
skin saline drab
bone rickety weak.

She makes no show
tides only know
taste of her knee

her hair's knotty lock
makes the wind to talk
feel her slowly.

Why I can't tell
on the mind's sail
she stirs a song

I find her so fair
upon a moment there
then she's gone.
once again at the mangroves

Thus your life is stuck with many dreaded thoughts

But a promise of hope isn't fading

It shouldn't

This is what life is
a scented flower but venomous

I was told your fate is in your own hand
But again I was taught that my fate is in God's hands

Some days I get it
other days I don't

But I do get hope
After all its the only thing I do get
