Honey melted behavioral patterns
Eye against the screen
Something we all have in common
Heart sink  over flow

Woke up sweating
A few cartons of cigarettes crushed against my head
Lies erode the enamel on my teeth
Yet I smile for appearances

Gradually
gravitate me
towards your
center of mass,
pumping my
potent life fluid vectors
at disorienting
angles.

If - why bother -
Then why bother wasting
anymore precious moments
of a life so short
with misery or
pathetic self-pity?
Why not cast off
the shackles of
depression
and allow the light
of life to shine?
Stop the self-indulgent tears
(so much easier said than done!)
and try to face unblinking
the true beauty
that is
life.

I can not live without seeing your face
your smile, your tender embrace.
I can not live, without seeing and hearing your laughter
for that is all that I am after.

you are my life, my soul.
your love I want to hold.

the tears rolling down your face
when you see suffering all around
and no answer to be found.

I’ve seen your heart break
when a Childs future is at stake.

I’ve seen the warmth and tenderness that you bring
winter, fall, summer, spring.
for it matters not the year or time
for your feelings to unwind.

I’ve seen your touch stop a baby from crying
as they looked all around
and looked into your eyes and felt safe and sound.

there is an aura of light that surrounds your being
and a warmth that radiates from within.
like the sun upon the earth
giving life, giving birth.
it has made me stop and wonder
for when I met you, there was lightning and thunder
and you appeared, as if out of thin air.
I was transfixed to your face
not a line, not a trace of worry or care.
none of that was there.
you said that there was something
that you had to do, and if I would help you.
now I finally see, that you came to help me.
you opened my eyes to all that surrounds me
for that's the way it had to be.
the 'face of an angel' had came that day
just to help me find the way.
the 'face of the angel' that I saw
will live in my heart forever more.
SEARCH YOUR HEART AND 'YOU WILL FIND'
THE FACE OF AN ANGEL, JUST LIKE MINE.

I was in my den, in my favorite chair with its
walls of wood and its shelves filled with wares from an
excursion I had taken to a far away land, and collected
these items to place where they stand.

I could hear the clock ticking, hear the wind howling outside,
while I held on to this shotgun, I had by my side.

I glanced out the window and all I could see
were blowing branches and leaves
that fell from the trees.

Wind blew in gusts, the rain started to fall, as I heard a
child's voice beginning to call. I could not make out just what
they said I had strange visions of ghosts in my head. As the rain fell harder
it came down in sheets like ghosts that move without any feet.

As night was waning, the flames started to rise in the
fireplace right in front of my eyes, as witches, goblins and
ghosts started to fly doing loops and dips
and spectacular dives.

My shotgun fell to the floor and right at that time I
heard a knock at the door, just as those witches, goblins
and scary old ghosts passed by. I opened the door as
scared as I was and there stood a goblin not quite
four foot one. It opened its mouth as I shook on
my feet and out came a phrase

“Hi, Trick or Treat.”
