Everything I write
seems to want to come out like

Love’s tender petals
Like the rains of yesterday
Wash away my tears

Buds are exploding into
A stampede of leaves

Your light tonight
Is oh so bright

You warm my soul
And make me whole

You take me where
There is no care

I dream of you
And love you too

Let me stay the night
Let me be your shadow

Let me waltz with you
In your brilliant glow

In the time it takes to be together
We’ll find a way to dream forever

It’s memories while dancing
Light everlasting
