I once wanted to know how I was viewed through your eyes
yet
could only imagine a transient apparition
in
clouded visions of denial.
Oh how wonderful words are
They can empower
they can uplift
they can entertain giving someone the courage to attain their dreams
Oh how powerful words are
They can cut deep they shatter dreams killing one's ambition to never achieve.

The ******* child of Hatred
despised and rejected
Breastfed flames of destruction from the
breast of Lust
Wrapped in the darkness of Cruelty
wearing the blindfold of Ignorance.

Okay brother
Not the worst son
And cynical sloth
I fear are the words
They'll write
On my grave
I know kinda morbid
To worry about that
But alas I never learned
How not to dwell
On disturbing pasts
Or uncertain futures
The ghosts of Christmas
Past and future
Will be most disappointed.

You ever feel
Like a poorly made doll
Stitched together from
Bottom shelf cloth
and spare parts
There almost certainly is
Someone out there willing
To give you a hug
But it would be awesome
If you could look
In a mirror without flinching.

I'm gonna lose
Are my words
At the start
How surprising
Are words I will
Sneer in the end
I'm a psychic
Nah
I'm just a defeatist.

You're so full
Of sweet sugary words
I am amazed
Your teeth
Haven't rotted away
But no they're just
As shiny and white
As they ever were
Good for you.
