Staring at the crowded hallway
Just like what I usually do everyday
Everyones going on their own way
Some are shouting, but I cant hear what they say.

Staring at the crowded hallway
Seeing some students just wanted to play
If you tell them to go to class
They'll make faces as if they don't want to stay

Staring at the crowded hallway
watching everyone walk
while some are just there to talk
Staring and hearing their footsteps
Tapping on the floor
While teachers-- students are chilling near the door.
Talking about everything like they know for sure.

Staring, observing, knowing
Every little detail
hearing every sound.
Tappings on the floor, creaking of the door, and still trying to look for more

Everyones with their friends
talking like theres no end
and Im here playing pretend
Going to cafeteria before the bell rings
While im alone staring at the crowded busy hallway
minutes passed its not crowded anymore, but one things for sure
Im still here left alone.

within Indian grass on a plain flat hidden from sight
to ordinary humans
protected by mist our sighs breathed
into air pure
under a permanent sky
blue and white we glowed with a sun never setting.
All lonely hearts
seek, this circle we have hidden deep,
in the feathered grasses, meadows
guarded by trust,
nature, owls at night,
us by love.

Oh , lord,  thine vision and temptations

standing quite naked before thy vast rivers
crying

of sufferers praying out thy name

I see thy greatness
while I ponder today's headlines.

In Daleville Al.
Daleville man arrested on multiple ***-crime charges,
(his bald *** lived in the trailer behind mine, as of this writing 5 under age girls are accusing him of ****** assault)

If I were God, I would not wait until after the fact to condemn him.

Headline: Obama calls hostages' beheading 'pure evil':
Well in the name of god why let it happen, are we in the 6th or 21'st century?
Why do Mohammed, Jahweh, Jesus, Buddha, or Sol or Adonis, not smite  this foolishness?
Or let us involve the argument, we are given free will.
For what has the grand creator been playing this kind  of game?

Thor thunders as Eloah (used only in poems)
watches, but credit him if you are the lone survivor in a catastrophe that claims 900.

Jehovah, let me ask?
Where is all this going?

A woman sits across from me in the mirror
I pretend she's not there even when I see her
Her heart aches to be heard and seen by me
By all I can do is look away obliviously

I act like she isn't there to echo my truth
The fact that her wrinkled eyes are my youth
I see through her eyes everyday with no remorse
Going about my life not looking back at the source

The things that made me the monster I am now
I don't hate these I hate how I let them endow
They took me over little by little until nothing...
Nothing was left but girl dangled from a string

To all who see age instead of their youth... ♡ wish you good luck ♡
dad left
for his second tour of duty
on my third birthday

mom kept
a jar full of jelly beans
on the living room coffee table

every night
she gave me one to eat, saying
"when these jelly beans
are all eaten up,
dad will come back home"

sometimes
i would sneak another,
to help dad come home sooner

one night
the phone rang
and i watched mom
wipe away a tear
as she filled
the jar
back
up
On this Remembrance Day, I think of all those who have served, with a special thought for Dad.  And though she has no medals, I also think of Mom; every tour of duty Dad went through, she went through too, taking care of us on her own.

*** Edit: Thank you for all your kind words!  Due to a recent outpouring of sympathy, I feel it necessary to clear up the fact that my dad did in fact make it home from this mission; his tour had simply been extended for an additional 3 months.  Still, it isn't easy being part of a military family - and that's what I meant to show. ***
