At interviews, applicants are put too the test
But I often wonder do Interviewers take candidate’s words for less
Now the Interviewer is looking for “Certified and Qualified”
The Resume speaks in advance of what the candidate has accomplished
That’s obvious
Then it is up to the interviewer after reviewing the Resume in scheduling Face to Face meeting
Candidates do have the training and standards
But it seems Interviewer’s state company standards
But if there is a correlation, you already meet the objective
If you didn’t meet and your Resume says you do, why sudden change on the Interviewer’s part
Yet most of the time, Race is a factor on qualifications
It shouldn’t, but often is
However, a company will say they are an Equal Opportunity Employer
That means Equality for all
If Race comes into play, how is that Equal?
One’s Resume states what the candidate has achieved based on ability being merit
Two words that stand out, “Marketable and Commodity”
But why do interviewing questions be asked to one Ethnic Group but not another
One’s Resume will state Qualified in the Interviewer’s eyes
But personal feelings being spite
The Resume is the first Representation, and one on one meeting being the second
But with all one’s training and experience makes an candidate in the interviewer’s theory of overqualified
What makes a candidate Overqualified and Qualified?
If you were to ask the interviewer, there wouldn’t be a precise answer or perhaps no answer at all
Certified and Qualified
But if the salary doesn’t compensate
Obviously, the interviewer doesn’t want to negotiate with a compensate

Medgar Evers being of outraged spoken words

I had the honor, privilege and opportunity to attend CUNY MEDGAR EVERS COLLEGE
The principles with Civil Rights concentrating on education being a Constitutional right
The message being “Higher Learning in Excel at any Race”

Meet education face to face
Don’t let your mind just go to waste
Gold is only a camouflage shine
What’s true within the heart having determination and desire in helping others regardless of race in bringing out one’s true potential in looking beyond the color of one’s skin
This is not something accidental
It is not something seasonal
It’s a chosen right
This was the reason in the Civil Rights fight
Medgar Evers saw the flaw in American’s thinking
He was compelled to shout out
It didn’t matter being just like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr if Death would be involved
This was Medgar Evers in seeing that Civil Rights needing a resolve

But it required Unity by all in being involved
An empty plate makes one hungry, and an empty glass makes one thirsty
But when you add the food it becomes the fulfillment, and in a task if what already will be accomplished
Civil Rights was a mission that Medgar Evers wanted to face
Medgar was determined that he wasn’t going to let America just let it erase
It wasn’t a Black nor White issue but equality in all races being justified
I had the pleasure to see the Medgar Evers Family personally up close and personal

Now Medgar Evers was a World War II Veteran
Field Secretary for the NAACP
Former Soldier Medgar Evers is buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia
Honor and dignity with a stance of salute
A quote being Medgar Evers personal words, “You can **** a man, but you can’t **** an Idea”
It’s about establishment with a fight that shall continue even today 2019.

I am often discouraged and depressed
I confide in people, but they often could care less
I know prayer can change things

Circumstance involving a Husband and Wife
The Husband making a decision, and not thinking twice
He didn’t even ask for advice
The Husband told his Wife he was going to get some cigarettes and he would be right back

His footsteps headed for a Greyhound Terminal in his town
It was going to be a One Way Ticket Los Angeles bound
The Husband actually boarded my bus which originated in New York City with destination for Los Angeles, CA
The Husband told us passengers that he left his wife
Well that didn’t sound nice
He had been on the road for two days
However, Los Angeles is where the Husband will stay
Now I don’t know the whole story between the Husband and Wife
But then again, everything is not always Sugar and Spice
But the Husband was determined to travel on
He felt a wife separation is where he belongs
Destination a quick getaway
It was decided right in that second
The Wife didn’t even suspect
Her Husband used Greyhound for the effect.

Perfect I am not
Being honest as I am providing the slot
I am far from perfection
