Cars, Trucks and other buses pass us by
We make a sudden Rest Stop but don’t know the reason why?
We the passengers puzzled eye to eye
But it was only for a while and the bus pushes on
I felt previously asleep, but now have awoken from a yond
Hills and Mountains seem to rise
But that really is no surprise
I had to imprecise
Farmlands with Cattle
Towns people all Wave
At one point, I though the wave meant be safe and behave

Scenery seen through the view of the tinted windows making sight close up looking far
You wouldn’t get all that travelling by car
The highway bus
It was travel that involved all of us
Windows tinted and beautiful
Hearts inspired being plentiful
It was that highway of history back, but moving forward with enterprising track.

It happened high up on top while we were on the mount
The mount seemed to rock back and forth
Suddenly there was an immediate shake
All I could say was  “For Heaven’s Sake”
We realized we were in a middle of an Earthquake
There was certainly no place to run
We were in the Arizona desert in the hot sun
As we looked across the vast horizon to look upon
We could see in the distance where damage had been done
Cactus Trees were falling down
Mountain upon Mountain of rubble hurling from all around
There were no people to be found
Suddenly a stillness of shock was our only silent sound
The Earthquake may have eased down, but what about the aftershocks
Perhaps I spoke too soon
This could very well be our own doom
Debris was starting again to fly all over
There was no place to take cover
High up on the mount we were
We were certainly at the mount peak far
We didn’t see any sight of any car
But we seemed to survive an Earthquake’s rage
This could happen at any age
It was just another of God’s amaze.

The Old Man even had on Platform Shoes
Now he must decide on his dance partner to choose
Women will determine if they want to refuse
The Old Man considers himself a “Dancing Prancher”
But sounds more like a Rancher
Now the Old Man is dancing all over the Dance Floor
I think he needs to be committed for sure
Imagine an 70 Year Old man dancing under a crystalized Disco dazzling Ball with a young women in the music beats
That Old Man must have some aching feet
This would be a good time for him to give into defeat
The Old Man claims the music were songs being his jam
The Dancing partner lady was named Pam
The Disco beat goes on
I don’t know how the Old Man can dance so long
The dance floor he doesn’t belong
But now the Old Man is on the Dance Line
I think the Disco Club is just being kind

Some might consider a road hog
Distance measured in miles
A sit back doing while
Travel having a relax
Rest Stops with arrival and departure points
Sitting for long periods at a time can affect your joints

Sometimes delays cause Bus Connections being not
Yet a relaxing hound dog ride
It’s the lean back leather seats in what comfort they provide

The Go being getting the passengers to destination anywhere
Even Amtrak and Airlines don’t compare
The Hound Bus Dog are picture perfect

Dark Alley the very spot
Observation of a victim unaware of a plot
It was going to be a dare

So as the victim walked

It seemed as victim walked with one footstep at a time, there was immediately two footsteps being swished

It was a Cloudy gloomy night

Soon after, the victim turned around and he was knocked in the head and collapsed to the ground
Suddenly silence was the sound
The Killer escaped into the night
Meanwhile, the victim lied still in a pool of blood flowing from the blow to the head
What a pity of the victim being murdered
No one knows the motive, and there were no witnesses
It was a poor soul in a senseless Death.

Somewhere I have heard that before
I know that for sure
I remember as if it was yesterday
But then again, it happened all today
Let me take you back
My buddy and I were hanging on the Basketball Court
We often played on the Basketball on any given day including the weekends
We were shooting the Hoops and challenging each other
My buddy noticed some thugs walking towards us
He said, “I hope they don’t make a fuss”
My Buddy stated, I got your back
Meanwhile, I was getting punched and smacked
So much for my Buddy having my back
Then my Buddy and I were being pushed and shoved
It went into a complete beat down in fight
However, it turned into more like fright
But my Buddy and I began to take control
We were feeling Bold
Did these Thugs think we were going to let them push us around?
It was going to happen on these grounds
No matter what, we were going to defend ourselves
We weren’t born to be turtles in a shell
Our message in fight is our circumstance too tell
We have a right on this court
Our protection must be our fought
We have game
That shall remain
We have a name
Its Thugs beware
If you want to play Basketball, we can share
So if you Thugs don’t want to do that, we will take you out in a punch
So Buddy, “Do you still have my back?”
He said yes
I got knocked out with one hard punch and smack

But can Motivation and Aggravation be beat at their own game?
Motivation had a plan to assimilate
Now Aggravation certainly didn’t appreciate
But the terms were substantiate
It’s was valuing what was important between Motivation and Aggravation
But there seemed to be some suppression
Perhaps even some suspicion
Yet neither one wanted to answer with any suggestion
Motivation was determined to win over Aggravation
However, Motivation was more presentation
Aggravation was more condemnation
But they both might need a referee
But let me see
The best thing would be for Motivation and Aggravation to work as a team

They would if Motivation wouldn’t be annoyed
Yet Aggravation wouldn’t think the idea being a ploy

I am the Lord that is always among

I am your Comforter, Counselor, Problem Solver and everything else one could think of but in the Heavenly sense
Your own doubt held you back at your moment
Observe the wonders of what I put on this Earth
Watch as the clouds change in formations
Weather and how the seas wave
I am that God and will always be that God
Your struggles are going to be worked out
It was solid praying of Jesus, Jesus, Jesus in your shout

I am often discouraged and depressed
I confide in people, but they often could care less
I know prayer can change things

Corruption has stretched beyond one’s expectations

An investigation will have to be shown
This could be called “Valentine Leap”
His soul is wandering in who will keep
The arrow that pierced that was fierce

Possible love rejection just might be the indication

The mission was to bring all Races together on one accord

It wasn’t just a dream but it was a vision to move forward, and step back
Civil Rights was the floor plan for the world to take their rightful place
But Dr. King wasn’t going to stop until Justice was in the right face

Today 2019, the battle still continues
But 2019 seems to be stuck in repeat from the 1960’s
Dr. Martin Luther King has passed on
But we as the people need to get along and show the powers that be that we belong
Change takes a time, but time has a victory
Victory is its own story
Civil rights seems to be pushed back
But what would Dr. Martin Luther King think of that?
Dr. King is probably turning over in his grave
Now injustice has gone rapid and doesn’t know how to behave
Dr. Martin Luther King was a true leader and devoted in what he felt should be right
Now we shouldn’t take his efforts being light

No need to cultivate with sugar and spice

A previous notice was sent
I know you are going through hard times
I am keeping your situation in mine
But as a Landlord I must pay bills

But there are agencies that would give assistance
However, the Quest is not think resistance
As a Landlord, this is not your fault and I won’t evict you out
The reason I have compassion

So evict is not on my mind

So Federal Government employees hold on
This shutdown can’t continue very long
Hostage is not a remedy
The President is simply a comedy
We are talking about human lives

But the President needs to work things out

That very statement that Dr. Martin Luther King made which he affirmed
It was a vision Dr. King saw
Civil Rights certainly was nothing to ignore
Yet since Dr. King has passed away
His philosophy seemed to have gone astray
Dr. King’s dream has turned to a nightmare
Man wants Hope and Inspiration to disappear
Man thinks they are the answer
But the true answer is Jesus Christ
Dr. Kong showed the world, your rights are your grounds to stand
Its written constitution throughout the land

Race and Creed are values
It’s not a curse in what Man believes
But also don’t be taken in by deceive
It’s a matter of Man’s inner intrigue
But Rights and Freedom is how all Races are too proceed
Dr. King’s vision has become written legacy
Hope and inspiration we should all keep in our hearts
Come together and unite
No such word of probably in “Might”
United is unification in what multitudes can accomplish
The world is not ordinary
In fact it is contrary
Dreams can be seen
But there must be an understanding in what they mean

Negative people continue to talk but be unsure
Those people we need to absolutely ignore
We are a nation

I was on vacation heading for the West Coast
It was the Bay City
A 4 days journey and no one is going to have pity
I was on a direct route being a thru-Coach from New York City to San Francisco, CA
But I am travelling on a Greyhound bus
Everything was going smoothly
Not until
The trip started with upcoming event with an Expectant Mother and Father to be who boarded in Omaha, NE
Well the announcement for my departure from Omaha for passengers to claim their seats
It was a highway ride through the darkened night
But me and the passengers don’t know, we are about to have a plight
Look at that, we arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah
We certainly travelled far
As too be expected, the Pregnant Woman travelling was having a few labor pains
But according to the schedule, we pushed on
We just crossed the Nevada State Line
But keep Baby arrival in mind
We made a brief rest stop, but the baby is ready to see the world
We the passengers noticed the Greyhound Driver counting her contractions
What luck, we were near a Major Hospital, and they were alerted, and the expectant Mother and Father to be got off as the Hospital staff carried the Pregnant Mother on a Stretcher off the bus
Meanwhile, the Driver announced what became a 30 minute stop was a two hour stop
Timing was everything at that point
Driver told us to sit back as he was going to make up time on the road that we loss
Somehow we arrived ahead of schedule on Greyhound into San Francisco, CA
Journey of course, but for the expectancy that is another story.

I seem to have a mark in being a Greyhound Bus Company Employee
But let me explain in understanding so you can see
It was three years ago
Now this is a dialog so I will narrate slow
I was waiting for a specific departure being a Greyhound Bus at the New York City Port Authority Bus Terminal
My destination was Philadelphia, PA
It was an Express Bus
I was on my way to the Philadelphia Flower Show
As I was standing waiting for the bus to pull up to the Gate and Load
Too my surprise, a Travelling Customer was passing by and stated directly to me, I look like I work for Greyhound
Now even though I am a Greyhound fan, I made sure I wasn’t wearing any bus memorabilia on
The only thing I was wearing was my Bus Patches on my Denim Jacket, but my Coat was hiding it
So I wonder was Greyhound written on my forehead
What did that travelling Customer feel I was knowledgeable about Greyhound
Whatever the event, the secret was out
Perhaps being destined to work for Greyhound is what I am talking about
Imagine, From the Greyhound slogan being my version, “Greyhound and me, travel with adventure and take it from me”.

The sea of waving delight
A Cruise ship get away leaving behind feeling uptight
An adventure morning, noon and night
Enchanted by the shining moon
I hear melody’s playing all the right tunes
A ship full of romance
There will be one giving me the chance
A breeze whispering saying, “Just sit back and relax”
This is a cruise that will have an embrace
Like I said previously, there’s no time to waste
Love is all over your lips
The cruise maybe a trip
But romance is the tip
As our eyes take notice
It’s the kiss being our connection
The shining moon full of promise
But it’s our heart to heart being honest
We sip wine and dine
The total atmosphere is simply fine

Thanksgiving Main Dish
Turkey has no time for a living wish
Turkey in the oven being the seasoning feast
No need to add yeast
The Turkey will have an axe up to its neck
None the less, what the heck
Family and Friends together giving thanks
The Turkey says, “Are you sure I can’t persuade you to have Frank?”
Yet it’s Turkey Day
Embrace love all the way
Happy Thanksgiving wherever you are

So the Turkey will lose and you will eat

But there is something about a dream that might have a message

How did this dream actually start?
The little boy would often travel on Greyhound a lot visiting his Grandmother in Chicago at Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays
However, the little boy was fond of animals, and the Hound dog perhaps captured the little boy’s heart

The highway alone in the dream being encouragement

The weather is just fine
A Hound Bus has just passed
That Hound Bus has a schedule and is moving fast
But Trucker 19 is moving on just cruise

A Christmas Pageant called “The Nativity” which was held outdoors in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

The Trainer was putting on a Red Cloth over the Camel, and the Camel shook it off

So the Trainer put back on the Red Cloth on the Camel
Now we the audience was standing and witnessed this
The Trainer attempted to put the Red Cloth back on the Camel, but the Camel gave a look to the Trainer didn’t I illustrate I don’t want the cloth on me, so because you don’t listen, the Camel raised his right leg and knocked the Trainer in the head
What happened after?
The Camel started to stampede
So there was a delay in the pageant not being able to proceed
The Camel was starting charge at the audience
Suddenly a miracle appeared, the Camel glazed down at the Plastic Baby Jesus, and literally kneed down
During that period, no one could get that Camel to budge
The Camel just continued to knee
It was like the Camel received a message of “Calm down and don’t be alarmed”
The Camel then rose up and the Trainer was able to put the Red Cloth on the Camel and the pageant continued
It was a miracle in tame
All surrounded by Jesus being his name.

A Roadrunner worker who has chores
The only thing that the Roadrunner doesn’t do is cleaning floors
However, it is office details
The copy center with paper trails
Creating a financial report that doesn’t fail
Delivery of mail being on time
It’s a wonder in between I am not drinking wine
Yet the Roadrunner is not on a road
It is the Executive Floor
It’s the Roadrunner’s responsibility in not to ignore

But don’t go to Prison being a moment of temporary or even permanent defeat

Life does have appreciation but you have to look around and find positive circles that will enrich your spirit straight to your heart
Where there is a bad road, you will also find a good road
Society will say you have no place
It is all about taking the chance and being given a chance
This is the way one does advance
But society wants a bad person to be an automatic human delete as a waste
It becomes cope with a hesitate
But as a Former Inmate, it doesn’t have a take
You have value and it all started when you were born
There was a reason and a destiny with a purpose

However, long before Prison and bad habits, I went to College and earned two degrees, a Bachelors in Business Management and a Masters in Public Administration
Even though education was my start, I had built the foundation
But I see there is a question, so what happened of why I went into crime?
You see I had the education, but I mixed up with the wrong elements figuring I could get them to change, but it came reverse, they made me change thinking my education was nothing more than proving something to the Man
But I proved that I could sustain knowledge and make something of my life regardless of what negative people think
It’s all about turn around and move fast forward
But never dwell on sorrows within uncertain rivers
But despite Prison, I still have the education appreciation
However, you emphasize the value of you before Prison even came up
Yet don’t get fed up
Just continue to present and what you have established in your own component of life and what it represents

Quality being golden comes within
Assumption is thinking then into present
A bad situation can comer with a learning good ending

The Freedom Riders were determined they weren’t going to retreat
They were going to speak out and be heard
They were animals flocking like a herd

The movie was centered around Exercise, Physical Transformation, Muscles and Bodybuilding
Yet it was a creation forming a Fitness Enterprise and Bodybuilding Affiliation Organization
Weider Muscles want your attention please
Stand and Flex but move with ease
But there was Rivalry between two George and Joe Weider all having a mission for Bodybuilding with a Higher Recognition Bodybuilding Prize
The convince being a hard realize
So George had a title that was called “Mr. Universe 1940”
Bodybuilders were all competing for the title
However, Weider was denounced to have anyone from his organization to compete, and there was a struggle
But Joe Weider saw a bigger picture of Bodybuilders in creating the “Mr. Olympia 1950”

Victory being on Joe Weider’s mind
But having a magazine that will enhance
The mission was about giving all Bodybuilders the competing chance
Bodybuilding Magazine relaying Bodybuilders and Bodybuilding coverage
Expressing to the world Bodybuilding was a sport
But don’t cut the sport short
It was going to take persuasion and instilling Bodybuilding appreciation
So the journey being a determined mission

Yet, it was on to discover Arnold Schwarzenegger Whose name Joe Weider had heard of
This Writer actually met Arnold Schwarzenegger personally when he was competing during his Bodybuilding days and the title was “Mr. Olympia” in New York City
I met Mr. Schwarzenegger at the Mid-City Gym in New York City
Arnold would often have trouble saying my name Anthony
Today, he would have no trouble saying my name because he was once a California Governor and a Movie Star
However, I was intrigued to see Sergio Olivia, Jr playing his Father in the Movie, Sergio Olivia, SR
What a combination?
Now the Sergio Olivia, Sr was a Cuban Weightlifter, and became a high Ranking Bodybuilder standing with Arnold Schwarzenegger
What makes Sergio Olivia, SR was when he posed in the ***** pose with humongous Lats when it came to Bodybuilding competition
So Sergio Olivia, Jr was following in his father’s footsteps with destination being stardom
But the Mr. Olympia is still the number one Bodybuilding competition today
Joe Weider saw the vision and how Bodybuilding will make the Mr. Olympia competition worthwhile
