Masquerade
Can you see beneath this smile i wear?
Look past these cheerful eyes.
Do you recognize the sadness there,
Concealed by this disguise?
I'm drowning in a flood of tears,
That no one seems to see,
Troubled by my silent fears,
That withhold sleep from me.
Can you hear the waver in my tone,
When i say
"I'm doing fine"
?
Truth is I'm scared to be alone,
In this secret world of mine.
Tell me what you think! :]
