Dec 2014
I remembered today is
the day of your birth …
on this day a new life
became a part of earth …
I wish you coming years
and every moment of them
become worth. Bring in the
chocolate fudge cake. Dig in
as if it’s a juicy piece of steak
Blow all the candles darling
before the clock hits midnight
and the time becomes late. I’ll
wrap you up in a big red bow.
Kiss you under the mistletoe.
Today is the day of your birth.
It’s the day where God has sent
you down from the heavens to earth
