It’s said your shackles
Are made to order for yourself
It’s said that the walls that hold you
Are made with your own cement

Why do you compare? Let. It. Go.
Atleast give yourself a chance to show.
It is true they have a lot. Things that you lack
But what you have, they can’t imitate. How’s that for a drawback?

So what if we’re broken?
Let our scars be our art
So what if we don’t fit in?
neither does the sun among the stars

The unique absurdities you have to offer
The beauty of The words you have
The sheer genius You hold within yourself
Makes up for all the lack

Oh let us leave the better specimens
In the worlds where they belong
And try to make the most of our world
Where it’s absolutely alright to be a little bit wrong.
