Without Your love dear Father,
I could not write these rhymes;
You've been there during troubles,
You've seen me through tough times.
I found You, rather, You found me,
towards the latter part of life,;
You're my refuge and my comforter,
through all my toils and strife.
When no one else stood by me,
You're strength was there to share;
You saw me through each obstacle,
when no one else did care.
You gave me courage, mercy too,
You forgave my greatest sin;
accepted me, the way I am,
looked past where I had been.
All you wanted, was my faith,
to love the Father and the Son;
to put You first, above all else,
and die for You when life is done.
