I lied,
To fit in.
I cried,
Deep within.

She looked at me,
With such shame.
He looked at me,
Because I was to blame.

Mother father,
I do apologize.
All this talking behind my back,
Made me realize;

It isn't worth it,
To follow her path,
I will never fit in;
So I won't even try.

Just go back,
And chase after her;
Look at all of the qualities that I lack;
But don't ever judge her;

Because this pain keeps me alive;
Because it's the only way I can survive;
