That small lump of cement
It sits there for a practical use
That is to have souls walk across
But then there is you
Sitting still as stone on top of it
Your mask is slipping dear
I see those crack
The ones I tried to mend
Those that you hid from me
Now you you refuse me
Cast away my loving hand
You sit there in pieces
And all I can do
Is leave you curbside
