Bitter on my tongue,
but I'll say I don't mind.
Too hot to touch
but I can't stay away
And it burns my blistering skin
but I'll be okay.

Take a taste of my poison,
but not enough to die.
I'm rotting on the inside
but outside I'm fine
So you can walk away
but I'll stay behind.
