Your love was a Tsunami
You swept me away
Brought me so far from home
And into the unknown

And though the aftershocks are almost invisible
And though the waves are smaller and smaller
The water will recede, I know
And I will be left with devastation
And a new landscape I will need to reconstruct on my own
But right now
*I am still drowning
