Make thyself important,
though not by mere words;
for they who claim importance
are fatally mistaken all too often.

Make thyself important
and none shall turn from thee for long,
for thy merit and consummation
shall be thy calling card:

-
Be good at what you do.
Do what you love.
Love what nurtures thy soul.
Inspire others to do the same.

These are but four of the tenets by which I try to live.

If they are shown to be obsolete,
they shall be revised,
but, until such a time,
they seem to be wise.
