Sep 2014
a pillow full of tears wasted on you
a box full of tissues no longer new
a bundle of emotions finally set loose
a waste of a chase for a fabled goose

i never thought I'd be the girl to fall
but i fell hard, i nearly lost it all
i lost the sight that holds my foundation
i became blindly bounded by your affection

i know i lot my common sense of direction
but i now no longer consider you a destination
you are a pass-by town on my route
this is my one surety, with no doubt
