I do not want
To be in love anymore

For falling in love
Is the joyous part,
    the exciting part,
    the sun-in-my-eyes-and-all-I-can-do-is-smile part

But when you so blind me,
The strength of my being fades
And I am not-so-temporarily indebted to you,
                                                                                  and your fickle heart
                                                                                  and changing mind

And every piece of you I love
Eats at every part of me that I love

So I question my worth
And its worth
And love's worth

And I am at once ever-so-temporarily
Indebted to the world

Until you laugh once more,
And I am blinded,
Sun in my eyes,
Smiling
