One Day I Hope
One day I hope
To screamΒ Β through a hole in the ozone
And hear it hit the empty vacuum of space
To know God isn't there .
I hope to one day
Look at your picture and
see someone I don't know
To find no beauty there.
One day I hope
To look in the mirror
And see my reflection
And not find my father there.
Today I woke up
With a load in my heart
I have carried it for ages
I hope today to let it go.
