She looks into the mirror
She can see a familiar face
With slowly fading fragrance
Losing all her grace
She takes a closer look
She can see a tired girl
Sinking into herself
For she has a punctured soul
For she fell too deep
And loved so pure
When she had her heart broken
There was nothing for cure
She stares into herself
Tries to act bold
But only tears , they roll down
& her body turns cold

She takes a long pause
Wipes away those tears
Slowly fakes a smile
Burying all her fears
She whispers to herself
You are going to be fine
Girl, all that you need now
Is just a little time
She takes a deep breath
Inhales all the pain
& with a broken smile she goes
Darlin' u cant get a rainbow without a little rain
With her eyelashes still wet
She fakes a smile so wide
Grabs a pair of sunglasses
Conceals the hurt those eyes refuse to hide

& there she pulls herself together
Covers her lips with favorite light pinkish glaze
Walks away from the mirror like a strong lady
For she knows, she has a mean world to face
