I can't sleep
a tornado of thoughts
whirling inside me
I'm torn and can't
ever be patched together
people expect recovery
but I only let them down
like always
I always let them down
my tears fall
like rain tonight
and nothing you say
will stop them
if you ask me
'what's wrong'
it'd be easier to say
'everything'
tear me down
to build me back up
and repeat the process
