after a period of debate
       I've made up my mind
              to have a peanut butter sandwich
                             this Thursday lunchtime

I could have had cheese and tomato on toast
             but that sort fare didn't
                          pass my winning post

now that the debating
                 on my midday repast
                                 has concluded

I shall shuffle off
            to the kitchen
                        to put lashing of peanut butter
                                             on my slices of wholemeal bread
