I met this girl once
Her personality was as wild
As her hair
And her sweet smile
Matched her eyes
I remember telling myself
The Sweet little lies
That got me through my day
To make me believe she'd be okay
But there was nothing left for her here
Not after her soul got burnt
I admired her strength
She taught me a thing or two
But now she's gone
To find a new home
And I'll forever remember that smile I loved to see,
You know that one that used to save me,
Nor her eyes that used to amaze me.
