There is little calm in the American heartland
For there is a man who doesn't understand
The people want him to be impeached
For all the clauses of the constitution he's breached

He holds the highest office in the land but not for long
From Capital Hill he'll be hunted by the throng
The people are unsettled with the laws he's instigated
Not one of them has truly satiated

There will be civil disobedience in cities and towns
The people won't wear anymore of what he's let go down
A movement is brewing throughout the USA
To divest the country of his overly liberal ways

Democracy isn't well served by the current President
The people's voices speak with malcontent
The stars and stripes of American patriots cry out
For Obama to resign so they'll be free of his tout
