May 2014
Whipperwillows and sacred cards
California shattering down upon us
Armadillos driving cars
Minnesota blathering all around us

Car parks, yellow museums
Degraded writers, fellow men
Air marks, mellowed athenaeum
Traded fighters bellow again

All in the head and under the bed
Yelling out, loud and clear
What was once dead is now unsaid
Shout about fear

As the rain slicked catacombs entomb such a thought
A refrain sticks honeycomb blooms, touched and bought
