on our after afternoon ramble we marvel at the beauty of the autumn trees
their leaves show such glory in their dying days before they fall and wither away....
i could give you colours ten shades each of green, golden, amber, russet, brown. but my words would be a paltry insult to the wonder of the falling crown
soon the trees will be stark and bare.....sculptures against the blue and pewter sky..
but my good god, you taught them well, the art of an awe inspiring goodbye.
