The soft tip-tap of rain
reminds me of impatient fingers
drumming on a desk.

What has become of our culture?
We rush, rush, rush and never take time
to notice the simple things because
we all have no time.
It's either we're late for something or
we live our lives out according to that ******* clock in every room reminding us that,
"life is short."
To this day, I STILL hate that
ticking sound.
