I woke up in the middle of the night screaming your name
But you were gone
I was to blame
My daemons were stronger than yours
The longer you held your ground
The more deafening was the crackling sound
Of your broken heart
No matter how many times Id start to say IΒ΄m sorry
I knew it was best when you closed our front door
As I crashed to the floor
My daemons screamed with delight
Oh what an incredible fright
Now every time at 5 am
I wake up screaming your name
and I am to blame
just 5 am thoughts
