No longer is the face
Of the person you pretended to be
Stuck in my head
Instead it is replaced
By the one who set me free
By the one who truly loves me
And is set out to make me happy
That's the face that I see in my mind
When I am in my bed and fantasize
About my lover
It is no longer you
Or the face you pretended to have
But it is my lover's face
And God, is it beautiful
