Palimpsest
Palimpsest
is a word that means
reused or altered
but still bearing visible traces
of its earlier form.
I think that that is
a good metaphor
for me
after you left me.
Feminists will disagree
(you haven't been used;
people can't be used up.
You're not a quota).
But I was after you left me
Because
you changed me
so completely
that even my music taste
tastes of you
Despite me now
being used
differently (better)
by someone else.
