The primary defining feature
of modern American diplomacy
is that we can somehow afford
to ensure the total concealment
of any unflattering information,
and, moreover, we can afford
the concealment of said concealment.
For the most part.

That aside,
whether through misaction or inaction,
we're still ruthless and unhumanitarian;
it's almost as if
we just want to eliminate
any and all
healthy competition.

Es *******es gibt nichts neu unter der Sonne.
It seems there's nothing new under the Sun.
The US Gov't is talking **** on Turkey for imprisoning 73 Journalists. Maybe they're upset because it isn't we who are breaking our rules.
The US Gov't is talking **** on China for "suppressing the voice of the people," not so dissimilar from Occupy Wall Street's paramilitary welcoming committee.

Strange how that works...
