Holding our wonder

stories abound
childhood rhymes

Visitors you've had
but only a few
conquering hero's
but was it all true

Races between nations
still to this day
while millions starve
we're planting a flag

Yet looking upon you
in the azure blue
hang on the horizon
rich amber hues
