Oh pleasant place
heart of this city, this square
on column high aloft
the hero of Trafalgar
stands proud with no fear
surrounding this icon of Britain great
four lions of freedom congregate
and hidden from the din of
avid hustle and frantic bustle
of this capital city
is the sound of two fountains
gushing blue waters
that at night look so pretty
my love my home my city.
