Red
chew my finger open, tear
my whole arm if you must
blood on paper, newest ink
for my oddity; rip open my
tender heart. I don't care
where it comes from.
Sometimes it really feels like I'm bleeding on paper, a metaphor I've used before and probably will again. In the end, I don't care what inspires it, I care that I just keep writing.
