Once he's had that sweet nectar he calls Gin
After he's fulfilled his minimum of daily sin
Adultery and abuse
Tries to choke her with a noose
Then feels bad and gets the blues
He'll cry in the dark

When he gets home early from work
Claims that he's tired
Though in all reality he just got fired
She asked too many questions
And caught the back of his hand
How dare she make him feel like less of a man
He'll drink some of his cherished liquor
And try to lure her in with wine
Says he needs some quality time
There's a hate in her heart that cant be defined

She'll refuse
He gets the blues and
He'll cry in the dark

She takes ice baths to help reduce the swelling
He punched her so may times in the kidney that it could possibly be failing
He comes in to check on her and notices she's not inhaling
Her body is limp and there's blood on the floor
The puddle reaches from the tub to the door
She just couldn't take anymore

He knows that this was caused by him
So he'll get some of his reliable gin
Drinks then let it sink in
And he'll cry in the dark
