Confessions
I wish I'd never shown you
Every flaw I had
I was so scared
You'd see me the way
That I saw myself
So I exposed them all
Waiting for you to run
And you didn't.
I was confused and scared
You weren't supposed to love me
So I pushed you away
Hiding under a facade of distain
I told you things I never meant
And finally at a distance
You saw me through my eyes
And you left.
