The soul is the human self,
With its desires, emotions and ability to do good or evil,
The soul being the master and the body
the servant to carry out the actions.
The body is the vessel for the soul,
And the seat for the minds activities,
Such as thinking, reasoning and making decisions.
All three are interconnected to make a complete human being ,
And his journey in life.
Whilst the spirit(ruh) is the divine essence,
A breath of life infused in us by Allah,
That leads us to path of righteousness and spritual growth,
The soul is focused on our earthly doings with the body and mind.
The spirit and soul exist after death,
The spirit is seen as a person(a witness) and return to Allah,
The soul will be accountable for your actions on earth
Good or evil,
And will be judged in the afterlife
The body is committed to earth,
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust,
In the hope of resurrection.
