Nov 2013
Little taps,
and very loud snaps.
Makes you wonder,
who had the last blunder.

Falling trees,
and buzzing bees.
Grate on your nerves,
and you start to swerve.

Thick black smoke,
and you start to choke.
You can no longer hear,
and you smell of fear.

Suddenly,
everything falters and moves quietly.
Like a silent movie that starts to fail,
and you scream out your whispered wail.

I heard the news today,
of what happened in the fray.
I hope to God it isn't you,
but I really wish I knew.

*I wish I knew...
