I was going to write of Poe
but most people know his story

The point is he was a damaged
human being
but absolute talent
still overcame.
Sadly he didn't enjoy it and
Perhaps never did find the joyful
Meaning living a life in the Light

If you write dark poetry
WRITE ON Until you find the
Truth in the Light.

I may not "like" all of it
but I have a dark side, too
I've been through some very dark times
I write of my drug and alcohol addiction
But i DID overcome
Just because I write of Jesus Christ
(who literally saved my life)
doesn't mean I don't read and
appreciate the dark side

I'VE BEEN THERE

I will pray that you, too, will come to believe in,
And fully appreciate the Father of light,  
His Son, Jesus Christ, and the Comfort of the
Holy Spirit... this writer's way truth and life!
