intensity or rhyme

or wish not to remember
for reason or reasons
of your own
unknown
to others?

Mine belongs
to me alone
I don't need
to share-
oft times
scenes of the past
revisit to remind
we were intimately
close before-

I'm an old man now
my eyes are weak and dim
still that point of time
continues to stick
to my very sensitive skin
I'm kept alive
in memory
in reverie
in the tiniest
of poignancy
and imagery.
