Coked-hate./
The-coaly/
burrows/
are-filled/
and-gone/
from-sight/
but-the-feuds/
still-carve/
deep-shafts/

are-instilled/
with-wounds/
black-bright./
Scabby-crude./

This piece is inspired by an encounter I had the other day and I just had to write about it. It amazes me how generational grudges can be kept and stereotypes reinforced. Also, mildly, terrifying.
