humans are far too trustworthy,
this is a fact,
they do not think about danger in the way nature does,
as if they are no longer part of the nature they claim to be,
they trust too easily,
their noses do not warn them of danger,
as the hare's does when the fox approaches,
their eyesight is limited,
literally and metaphorically,
they rely too much on others,
on systems that can break down with one cry of unrest,
on people that deliver false promises,
their senses are dull and reflexes slow,
their hearts never anticipate heartbreak,
nor do they anticipate fear of being hunted,
they do not think like the birds,
jumping away at every sound,
nor like their feline hunter, analytical to a fault,
(of course there are exceptions),
yet,
to some it might be a boon,
to some it might be a curse,
to be ignorant to the danger lurking in every corner,
personally,
I think it makes us human.
