Im never sure what to say to you
But I know that anything I say
Would be way too true

Lately I avoid my feelings
So when I remember the way
I felt
When you held me in your arms
I feel as though I have to flee
From that very thought

I know you haven't been the best
And I want to lay on your chest
And try to make you smile
Make you feel okay
Once in awhile

I'm sorry if you don't like this poem
But I want to share it with you
Make it more true
And have you know
That I care for you

I hope one day
I can see you again
And put a smile on your face
And maybe give you a hug
To make you feel loved
