She drew on the cigarette
Her ruby lips parted
As the grey smoke danced around in the
Bitter air like an exotic dancer

Sipping on the ice cool Jack
Staring out of the rain soaked window
Wondering if the neon sign
Lit up the sadness now faced

Again another heavy drag
On the cigarette
The tears began to come
For once upon a simple time
She was someone’s moll
