with their paws of love,
celestial gifts endowed
from the Father above.

Silent wisdom speaking
in a language of the soul,
a bond unbroken,
making brokenness whole.

Time stands still
cradled in love-filled eyes,
makes us thrive as humans
the Creator's jeweled prize!

In this tapestry of life,
they weave a thread divine,
guiding us through valley days
no matter if stars shine.

A wisp of embracing, playing,
laughing, loyalty is prime,
but seconds run out
lesson learned is to savor time.

So remember now to cherish
each day and every night,
share with them each heartbeat,
